Provision of counselling, support and prevention programs to raise awareness and reduce the incidence of family and domestic violence.
Nintirri Family Violence & Counselling is a free community service. It provides confidential support and counselling to people struggling with personal, emotional and family issues through a non-threatening, non-judgemental and informal approach.
Support and counselling is available to victims, perpetrators, other associated family members (including children) of all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds who are affected by family and domestic violence.
You will also see Fay McInnes our Family Violence Coordinator/Counsellor at events and workshops organised by the team, for example White Ribbon Day and 16 Days in WA.
Prevention and education programs are a vital part of this service and are delivered in Tom Price, Wakuthuni, Bellary, Yongaleena and Paraburdoo.
